Driving Sports TV at the 2010 Chumpcar Race in Portland. This is a short POV video with a couple random laps from Ryan Douthit (producer and co-host Driving Sports TV) driving in the Chumpcar race on Halloween Weekend at Portland International Raceway. At this point in the event, after a day of rain, the track is just starting to dry and the faster cars are starting to find their stride. Ryan is nearing about 30 minutes into his second 1-hour driving shift. The Produnk “Die Kitty!” Mazda Miata was prepared by AR Auto Service in Lake Oswego, Oregon. More to come.

Best Chumpcar theme… ever. This weekend the Driving Sports TV crew will be joining Team Produnk at the (becoming) annual Halloween Chumpcar race at Portland International Raceway in Oregon. Today is tech and check-in, so we can finally share with you what Eddie and the crew from AR Auto Service cooked up this time. I think you have to admit, it’s truly inspired. Aaron is going to be helping in the pits, while Ryan will be driving in two sessions. Jessie is in Greece, but she’ll be back in a couple weeks.

Los Angeles Orders 10,000 Jetpacks
I can appreciate the idea of jetpacks for emergency use (though, maybe 10,000 is over-doing it for cash-strapped California.) Now, where the hell are the flying cars we were promised?
